What is the Classic Hoodie made of?
80% cotton and 20% polyester at 280 g/m². That's a noticeably heavy fabric: it doesn't sag and keeps its shape even after many washes. Plus ribbed cuffs and hem, flat drawstrings and a straight unisex cut.
Which size should I choose?
The hoodie has a regular fit and a unisex cut, so it fits women and men alike. If you'd like to wear it looser, go one size up. Available sizes are S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL and 4XL. You'll find the exact measurements in centimetres in the “Size chart” tab.
How is the hoodie printed?
With the DTF process (Direct to Film), printed and produced in Germany. The print is vibrant, stays soft to the touch and holds up in the washing machine. Production only starts after you order, so your hoodie isn't sitting in a warehouse somewhere. It's made just for you.
How do I care for my printed hoodie?
Your hoodie should stay with you for a long time, and it needs surprisingly little for that:
- Wash it inside out. That way the print never touches the drum.
- 30 °C is plenty. Hotter won't make it cleaner, but it will fade the print faster.
- No bleach, no fabric softener. Both affect the colours and the feel.
- Air-drying is best. The tumble dryer is the quickest way to a shrunken favourite.
- If you iron: inside out, and never directly over the design.
What kind of photo do I need for the personalization?
A sharp, unedited photo taken in daylight in which your dog is clearly visible, ideally without flash. You don't need to worry about the background, your dog is cut out automatically. The more clearly the face and coat can be seen, the better the design captures your dog.
Will I see my design before I order?
Yes. After you upload your photo, your design is ready in a few seconds, and the live preview shows you the finished hoodie before you add it to your cart. So you don't wait for drafts, and there are no surprises after you order.
Does it also work for mixed breeds and dark coats?
Yes. The design is created from your photo, not from a breed template, so every breed, every coat colour and every mixed breed works. If your dog has a very dark coat, it's best to choose a lighter hoodie colour so your dog stands out clearly.
Can emojis or special characters be printed in the name?
No. All letters of the German alphabet can be printed, but emojis as well as Chinese, Cyrillic and other special characters cannot. So please take a quick look at your order confirmation to check that the name was taken over exactly as you entered it.
